is_bool() function

The is_bool() function is used to check whether a variable is boolean or not. The function returns true if the variable is a boolean otherwise false.

Syntax:

is_bool(var_name)

Parameters:

Name	Description	Required / Optional	Type
var_name	The variable being checked.	Required	Mixed*

*Mixed : Mixed indicates that a parameter may accept multiple (but not necessarily all) types.
