Here are the optional parameters below, that can be used to select a specific section of information:

  • server: General information about the Redis server
  • clients: Client connections section
  • memory: Memory consumption related information
  • persistence: RDB and AOF related information
  • stats: General statistics
  • replication: Master/slave replication information
  • cpu: CPU consumption statistics
  • commandstats: Redis command statistics
  • cluster: Redis Cluster section
  • keyspace: Database related statistics
  • all: Return all sections
  • default: Return only the default set of sections

Here are some common uses and scenarios for the "INFO" command:

  • Server Statistics: Provides detailed information about the server’s state, including memory usage, CPU load, and connected clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Useful for monitoring server performance and health metrics, such as keyspace hits, misses, and eviction statistics.
  • Configuration Overview: Displays configuration details and operational parameters of the Redis instance.
  • Troubleshooting: Assists in diagnosing issues by offering insights into server performance and error logs.
