Write a Ruby program to trim specific characters from a string.

Ruby Code:

def check_string(str,chr)
   return str.tr(chr, '')
end
print check_string("JavaScript", 'a')
print "\n",check_string("Python", 'y')
print "\n",check_string("JavaScript", 'JS')
