JavaScript: Check whether the given argument is a native boolean element

JavaScript fundamental (ES6 Syntax): Exercise-204 with Solution

Check Native Boolean

Write a JavaScript program that checks if the given argument is a native Boolean element.

  • Use typeof to check if a value is classified as a boolean primitive.

Sample Solution:

JavaScript Code:

// Define a function 'isBoolean' that checks if the type of the input value is boolean
const isBoolean = val => typeof val === 'boolean';

// Test cases to check if the input value is a boolean
console.log(isBoolean(null)); // false (null is not a boolean)
console.log(isBoolean(false)); // true (false is a boolean)

Output:

false
true
