Check If Symbol

Write a JavaScript program to check whether the given argument is a symbol.

  • Use typeof to check if a value is classified as a symbol primitive.

Sample Solution:

const isSymbol = val => typeof val === 'symbol';

// Test cases to check if the provided values are symbols
console.log(isSymbol(Symbol('x'))); // true (Symbol('x') is a symbol)
console.log(isSymbol(Symbol(1)));   // true (Symbol(1) is a symbol)
